The Head Start preschool program has two different program options. Michigan Family Resources helps you select the option that works best with your schedule and your family's needs: Half Day Monday through Thursday your child attends a morning or afternoon session at a preschool site. Michigan Family Resources provides bus transportation to most sites. The half-day option is available in locations throughout Kent County and is free. Home Based Available in Northern Kent County, teachers come to your home once a week to do activities with you and your child. At least twice a month children ride the bus to the North Kent center to participate in a classroom setting. This program is free.
